MC Corn Mix
House-party DJ, VJ & host.
Music, visuals, and an actual personality.
MC Corn Mix is Cornelius Dude on party duty: a local DJ, VJ and host for house parties, small celebrations and ceremonies around Radford, Blacksburg, Christiansburg and the New River Valley. Expect music with personality, a sense of occasion, and a plan shaped around your people.
A soundtrack with a point of view.
Set the mood. Keep the occasion moving.
The right format for your night
A relaxed listening session, a themed party, a room ready to dance, or a hosted mix of music and conversation—we’ll agree on the genres, energy, requests and tone that suit the occasion.
Music with a point of view
Rock, electronic music, hip-hop, pop, funk, familiar favourites and odd discoveries can all have a place. Background listening, themed selections and energetic party mixes are shaped around the mood, audience and requests agreed beforehand.
Visuals for the occasion
Projected visuals, prepared video accompaniment and themed imagery can add another dimension to the room. We’ll plan the material and display around your theme, the space and the format you want.
A voice for the room
Introductions, announcements, ceremony cues and transitions: I can take the microphone and help the occasion keep its rhythm. From a playful party host to a more measured ceremony presence, the tone is agreed with you.
Enthusiasm welcome. Perfect pitch optional.
Hosted karaoke can be part of the plan, with microphones and projected lyrics. Songs, compatible backing tracks and lyric display are arranged ahead of time, with hosting to keep singers and the evening moving.
The arsenal, with a purpose
A practical party setup
In the room
- JBL PartyBox: a portable party speaker for the agreed room and audience.
- Microphones & mixer: music, speaking and singing brought together for the occasion.
- Projector & laptop: prepared visuals, video accompaniment and planned karaoke lyric display.
- Teleprompter: support for prepared introductions, announcements and scripted moments.
Behind the mix
- Adobe: audio and video preparation, editing and visual material.
- LMMS & Hydrogen: tools for original beats, arrangements and prepared audio elements, when the brief calls for them.
- Spotify: playlist discovery and curated listening examples from the Corn Mix collection.
We’ll match the setup to the guest count, room, power access and projection space. Custom preparation, duration and any additional needs are part of the agreed scope and quote.

Before we turn it up
Where do you offer DJ, VJ and hosting services?
I’m local to Virginia’s New River Valley, including Radford, Blacksburg and Christiansburg. Share your location and date so we can confirm travel, setup and availability for your occasion.
Can the music and hosting suit my guests?
Yes—the brief starts with your audience, preferred genres, atmosphere, must-play requests and do-not-play list. Tell me about clean-version needs, special moments and any genre changes you want through the night; we’ll confirm the selections and approach ahead of time.
What do you need from the host?
The date, location, approximate guest count, timings and a safe setup space with suitable power. For projection or karaoke, we’ll also check the viewing surface, lighting and song materials. The exact equipment and responsibilities are agreed before booking.
How do I get a quote?
Contact me through Everscope Multimedia with the date, place, duration and services you have in mind. The quote follows the agreed setup and preparation rather than a package that assumes every party is the same.
Let’s plan your occasion
Send the date, location, guest count and the mood you have in mind, along with any music requests and whether you’d like visuals, hosting or karaoke. We’ll work out the setup, scope and quote through Everscope Multimedia.
